Stevenson School takes on Disneyland

Sixteen members of the Stevenson School Varsity Boys Lacrosse team travelled to Florida during one week of their Spring Break to practice and play lacrosse. The boys practiced at the Disneyworld's Wide World of Sports Complex during the week of Feb. 28-Mar. 5, 2004, and played two games against local Central Florida High School teams Olympia and Lake Howell.

On Tuesday night, March 2nd, the team played under the lights in an official game against Olympia High School and won 12-6. On Thursday night, March 4th, the Pirates were again victorious 12-3, over Lake Howell The Stevenson team won both games with relentless pursuit of ground balls, team offense, and a hard-hitting defense.
