Two Stealth Games To Be National Televised

The National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced this week an agreement for the "NLL Game of the Week" to be carried by Fox Sports Net (FSN) affiliates across the country.

The ' NLL Game of the Week' schedule will consist of nine regular season game broadcasts, including two nationally televised San Jose Stealth contests. The schedule features the opening night contest on December 26th, as the Arizona Sting host the Vancouver Ravens at 9:30pm Eastern Time. Other highlights include the 2004 All-Star Game in Colorado on February 22nd, and home games featuring all three of the league's new cities (Anaheim on February 8th & March 13th, Arizona on December 26th and San Jose on March 20th).

"This is an exciting announcement for the National Lacrosse League and for our ten member teams," said Jim Jennings, Commissioner of the National Lacrosse League. "Our agreements with Fox Sports Net affiliates and other regional networks allow us to reach 80 percent of the cable homes in the United States, enabling many viewers across the country to see NLL action for the first time. The broadcasts will build our fan base and aid our continued efforts to grow the league in new markets." Earlier this year, the league announced 'The Score Television Network' as its national broadcast partner in Canada.

Fox Sports Net is a 24-hour sports network, offering 24-hour coverage of the world of sports, with in-depth reporting and live coverage of breaking news and press conferences as well as local team coverage. Fox Sports Net has 16 affiliated stations across the country.
